Welcome to the Art of BreakBread
This webinar will walk you through the basic arc and practices of hosting a BreakBread Kitchen Table.
How to use this training
1. Start with the Introduction + Overview.
These will give you the big picture before we walk through each part of the gathering.
2. Watch the videos in order.
Each one corresponds to a step in the BreakBread experience:
- Welcoming
- Presencing
- Guidelines
- Introductions
- The Prompt & The Conversation
- Takeaways + Closing
3. Keep your Host Table Guide nearby (in the email we sent you)
The videos teach the thinking and practice behind BreakBread. The Cheat Sheet gives you the simple flow you can follow when you host.
4. Notice your questions.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. Write down anything you want to talk through and bring it to one of our Host Q&As this week.
Most importantly: don’t try to memorize it.
The structure matters, but BreakBread isn’t a script. Your job is to understand the basic container well enough that you can be present with the people at your table.
