Planting the seeds for healed, whole, and vibrant communities through BreakBread!
Good people are increasingly feeling isolated or stuck in their tribal corners or let down by their social lives and connection. Yet, most of us want more authentic, human connection with those in their physical community.
This is the work of BreakBread World
We support communities, organizations, and everyday people to gather and connect with more intention and depth. To reweave our common humanity one gathering at a time. We do this by leading community BreakBreads, and by offering community support for people to host their own BreakBreads,
BreakBread is a quiet oasis where you show up as you are –
to listen, share, laugh, and connect. Each dinner revolves around a carefully crafted prompt that cuts through small talk. Every gathering is different and every conversation unique as we open unexpected vistas of inspiration and connection that linger long after dinner is done.
At intimate tables of 6, we explore a carefully crafted prompt
For example:
How has imagination transformed your life? What is Radical imagination?
What is trust? In what ways do you trust yourself and the world around you?
What’s the flow?
- Doors open an hour up before we circle up to get present, connect to the purpose and go over some guidelines.
- Then we get our food and go to our respective tables of 6 or 7 to get to know each other and have a 1 hour conversation around the evening’s prompt (see the above section for the prompt).
- At the end, we will circle back up for an intentional closing.
What makes BreakBread special?
- The presence and expertise of the facilitators
- Table Lead Training
- A well-honed, carefully crafted structure
- A well-invoked intention
- A powerful goal for your existing or emerging community
- Unique prompts
