A space to connect beyond the call of duty
This BreakBread is a dedicated space for members of the Woodstock Fire & Rescue community to slow down, share a meal, and connect with one another—outside of roles, ranks, and responsibilities.
In the rhythm of responding, serving, and showing up for others, there isn’t always time to get to know the people beside you. This evening is an opportunity to build those relationships—to strengthen trust, deepen camaraderie, and feel more at home within your company.
You’re invited to come as you are—to listen, share, laugh, and connect.
What to expect
We begin together as a full group, then move into intimate tables of 6–7 people for a conversation around one prompt, which will have one of the following themes: honor, the kitchen table, liberation, home, or humanity.
At the beginning of the gathering, the Fire Chief will draw the prompt for the evening.
