A Mindful Conversation About Conversations

Monday, June 14, 1:00 – 2:00 PM EDT

Join us for this special hour-long conversation where we will slow down and become aware of our attention, thoughts, and feelings while we have a conversation about conversations.

Mindful conversation is a transformational practice that involves becoming more present in the flow of conversation with others. It is a practice that brings us into a more fully embodied relationship with ourselves and others and helps us connect to our common humanity.

In this hour-long conversation with BreakBread Co-Founders Martha Williams and John Scilipote, we will briefly talk about what mindful conversation is but spend most of our time in conversation exploring some of the concepts.

BreakBread World Public Dinner

Tuesday, June 15, 7:30 – 9:30 PM EDT

BreakBread World Public Dinners are large-format BreakBread gatherings where all are welcome to join! We gather together around the fire of one shared prompt and quickly move into smaller “breakout dinners” each guided by one of our trained hosts. Then we come together to debrief and close as a community.

For two hours you are invited to experience a quiet oasis where you show up as you are –– to listen, share, laugh, and connect, enjoying one another’s presence and company while exploring the evening’s thought-provoking prompt:

What is trust? In what ways do you trust yourself and the world around you?
